Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are rising fast on the agendas of governments and board meetings, as climate change, environmental and health and safety risks became more prominent and failure to proactively manage them could be detrimental to the continuity of an organization.

Global attention and major investments have been made in programs that are aiming to manage these risks, which gave rise to more stringent regulatory requirements in efforts to better govern the organizations and unify their strategic objectives in relation to climate change, sustainability and CSI.
